About Us


The Printing & Stationery Department is basically service department running on no profit no loss basis. After trifurcation, the department is maintained centrally for all the three Corporations under the control of Director of Local bodies. Administrative as well as financial matters of the department are looked after by North Delhi Municipal Corporation. The department dealing with- 1) Printing of all material required by the departments of all the three Corporations 2) Supply of Stationery Forms/ items to the departments of all the three Corporations.

The department is headed by Director, Printing & Stationery and supported by two Asstt.Managers, Administrative as well as technical staff. Factory Act is applicable to this department. The department is itself cadre controlling authority in respect of Technical Staff. The clerical/administrative staff are being transferred & posted by the Central Establishment Department.

There are two units of Municipal Press; one is located at Town Hall, Chandni Chowk  and other at Civil Lines Zonal Building, 16 Rajpur Road. Office of the Director (Printing & Stationery) is located at 25th floor, Dr.SPM Civic Centre.


Civil Lines Press:. At present, this unit contains 6 Offset Printing Machines, 2 paper cutting machines, one server & five computers along with binding and plate making equipment.

Town Hall Press:  At present this unit contains 3 offset printing machines, 1 paper cutting machine, one server & five computers along with binding equipment.
